We Are Recommended for Re-accreditation!
Congratulations to QSI International School of Yerevan on the recent visit by Middle States Association (MSA) and our successful recommendation for re-accreditation!

Achieving the recommendation was a team effort and all stakeholders deserve recognition for a superb job!  Reports were written, evidence was gathered, and student behavior was perfect.   Parents helped by attending meetings, giving comments and filling out surveys.  Students helped by showing the visiting team their best side, and staff worked tirelessly to collect the items the team needed to validate what we said in the report.

Now we await the final decision by the MSA board and the final report which should arrive in 6 to 8 weeks.

Is It Over?
School Improvement is never "over."  In fact, this is just the beginning.  Now that the student performance objectives from the last 7 years have been met (Increasing mathematics skills and success orientations), we are now working on our next objectives: Improving reading skills and increasing environmental stewardship.

We will be seeking help from stakeholders over the next 7 years to achieve these objectives, and we always appreciate your input.

So, thank you to all of our stakeholders for your help, your input and your good wishes as we begin this next course in the life of our school.

IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL PICTURES

Attention, parents!  School pictures will be taken this week and will be available for purchase after spring break.  Photos will be taken according to the following schedule.

Wednesday, March 20 -- 3-11 year-old classes (individual portraits and class photos)

Thursday, March 21 -- 12 year-olds and up (individual portraits and class photos), large group photos of entire staff and student body

Friday, March 22 -- staff portraits, make-up portraits for students who were absent on Wednesday or Thursday

These photos will also be used in the school yearbook.  We look forward to seeing everyone dressed their best and smiling beautifully!
